But today’s episode is about listening - how it is crucial to listen deeply to Black women, women of colour, and indigenous women in doing anti-racist work, so our world and communities can become more just, equitable, and safe for everyone. Listening and learning are important parts of being a great leader. In this episode you will learn: how to pass the mic, google your questions or pay people for their expertise, how to be anxious and do the work anyway, become aware of what voices you are hearing on a daily basis, stop tone policing, interview, hire, and buy from black, people of colour and indigenous businesses, and get prepared to be wrong.
